Senior SAP Software Engineer (f/m/d)

As a Senior SAP software engineer (f/m/d), you will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Business System Engineering. You will be working with cross-functional ERP teams and the development community to build and maintain S/4HANA solutions. You will have constant interaction with system integrators, enterprise architects, and project leads and manage a world-class application in S/4HANA and ECC systems. This role involves hands-on programming and troubleshooting highly complex scenarios across various modules. As a senior engineer, you will be accountable for end-to-end implementation for a few products within the project scope.

Your next challenge
- You (as part of the SAP Engineering team) will be working closely with the product teams, project leads, and architects
- You will be contributing toward the product development, i.e. hands-on programming (ABAP)
- You will provide input to S/4HAN+A and ECC related development standards and improvements to our QA team
- You will demonstrate technical leadership and recommend innovative solutions to complex problems
- You will provide assistance in defining the scope of the project, estimating efforts and project timelines
- You will provide mentoring and guidance to other developers
- You should be able to analyze the risk and impact of proposed solutions, including security and performance aspects
Your profile
- University degree in any engineering stream or equivalent area
- 6 – 12 years of experience on SAP ABAP and SAP ABAP OO(mandatory)
- Deep knowledge in Core Data Services(CDS Views), OData and Fiori Elements
- Experience with Business Technology Platform (BTP) and integration platforms (API)
- Subject matter expertise in multiple ERP modules and requirements towards ERP solutions across various industries
- Experience in S/4HANA project implementation is a plus
- Should be able to work independently, participate in requirement gathering sessions, analyze and document business flow from end to end
- Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of an organization
- Prior working experience using Agile methodology is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in English
