Financial Accounting Analyst SAP (f/m/d)

The department GGF Digital Business Solutions in our Headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany is looking for a Financial Accounting Analyst SAP (f/m/d) to support our GGF Digital Business Solutions department.

You will report directly to the Head of Applications Corporate. This position is located in Heidelberg, Germany.


Your next challenge

  • Ensuring maintenance, further development/improvement, and quality assurance of the SAP Core System of Heidelberg Materials within the area of FI and connected solutions
  • Keeping the documentation (Business Processes description, end-users’ manuals, training docs, testing cases, etc.) of the SAP Core System of Heidelberg Materials and within the area of FI up to date
  • Customizing of processes and interfaces; conducting related test scenarios
  • Designing and conducting training programs
  • Regularly providing 2nd or 3rd level support to end-users of the SAP Core System of Heidelberg Materials
  • Working in international projects with the objective to implement new operating procedures or to improve the existing ones
  • Working in the S4 HANA conversion project of Heidelberg Materials

Your profile

  • University degree in a business or technical field (or comparable qualification / experiences)
  • Very good understanding of financial accounting practices and processes
  • Minimum five years professional business and technical experience within the FI area of SAP R/3, ECC or S4 systems (an international background and SAP Fixed Assets experience would be an advantage)
  • Knowledge of the interfaces within the SAP architecture as well as to connected external systems
  • Knowledge of SAP MDG (Customer and Supplier) would be an advantage as well as S4 HANA experiences
  • Very good English language skills
  • German language skills would be an advantage
  • High analytical, communicative, and organizational skills
  • Structured and target-oriented working style, assertiveness with clear focus on rapid implementation
  • Willingness to participate in SAP roll-out projects worldwide and to regularly provide a support to end-users
  • Ability to work in an international team with emphasis on service orientation
