The Wolf Creek Dam is a multi-purpose dam on the Cumberland River in western Russell County, Kentucky, USA. Wolf Creek Dam provides hydropower, flood control, navigation, water supply, and recreation for the region.

Wolf Creek Dam measures 79 meters in height and 1,748 meters in length. It features a power station comprising six turbines with an installed capacity of 270 MW and a spillway with ten radial crest gates and six sluice gates. The dam creates the Lake Cumberland reservoir, covering a surface area of 20,340 ha with a drainage basin of 14,990 km².

In 2013, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) completed a project begun in 2008 to upgrade the foundation of the Wolf Creek Dam. The project included nearly four years of 24/6 concrete deliveries. Type I/II Portland cement from HeidelbergCement’s US subsidiary was utilised for the foundation upgrade.
