Area Digital Europe Manager (f/m/d)

The Digital Business Solutions team ensures that IT products and services are matched to the needs of our global business. We ensure that consistent systems can be used at all our locations to secure our operational efficiency and outstanding customer service. Working to energize and focus the delivery teams, we provide strategic direction and roadmaps for all solutions. Representing the business, we focus on engagement in countries, regions, and group function level.

Our team within the Business Solutions department is representing the Group function Digital on area level, acting as a trusted advisor for the countries in developing and executing their local Digital strategy in alignment with the global vision. In regular exchange with various stakeholders, we ensure that Digital serves as a catalyst for innovation within the business, while maintaining a balanced expectation management.

Your next challenge

We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated professional to fill the position of Area Digital Europe Manager within our team. In this role, you will facilitate and refine the IT strategic planning process, collaborating on a frequent basis with local IT departments across European nations to ensure alignment with the global Digital strategy. Your role will be central to build partnerships with various Digital and Group Functions to identify and initiate strategic initiatives, guiding them from start to successful implementation.

As the Area Manager, you'll oversee our suite of digital products and services, requiring you to build and sustain robust relationships across the organizational and with stakeholders on all hierarchical levels. Therefore, we are seeking a candidate who excels in communication, possesses a broad understanding of IT and business, and is solution-oriented to effectively overcome challenges while managing customer expectations.

Experience and education

• A proven track record within IT ideally educated to a degree level
• A proven ability to manage business stakeholders
• A proven ability to ensure IT delivery is focused on adding business value

Further requirements

• Fluent in English; knowledge in German or other languages would be an advantage
• Open mindset – passionate, creative, and proactive
• Be comfortable working with all levels of staff from operations to management
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
