New look line up for Hanson range of packed products

Hanson UK’s line up of packed building products – the broadest in the market – has a fresh new look.

The facelift is part of the company’s development of the range which includes packed low CO2 cement, concrete, plaster, render and decorative aggregates.

Paul Lacey, Hanson UK’s national marketing manager, explains: “Last autumn we brought together Castle Cement, Civil & Marine and our packed products division to form Hanson Cement.

“Since then we have been looking to give our packed building products range a new look. All the packaging now has strong Hanson branding to help demonstrate the breadth of products we offer.”

Following research with builders and DIY enthusiasts, the iconic red Castle turret remains an integral part of the cement packaging and the whole range contains key information about uses, mixing instructions and storage.

In addition, Hanson’s general purpose cement has been improved to give it a higher strength of 42.5 Newtons.

“The new packaging design highlights the applications and features of each product making it easy for our customers to identify which one is right for them,” added Paul Lacey.

“It also scored highly with builders and DIY enthusiasts, particular on clarity, appeal, level of information and design, as well as increasing their likelihood to buy.”

Hanson can now also offer customers mixed loads as well as one point of contact to order all the items.
