Description:
Dry pre-blended cementitious material to BS 5838 Part 2, containing, Portland cement and building sand.
Mix ratio:
1 part cement: 5 parts sand
Uses:
Brick block laying. Pointing, patching, rendering and general sand and cement repairs.

Shelf life:
6 months in unopened bag stored under dry conditions.
Instructions for use:
Pour the content of the bag onto a clean, flat surface. Slowly add clean water, mixing continuously to make the mix workable. Approx. water addition - Bag size Water (litres) Maxi 3.0 - 3.5Handi 0.7 - 0.8 Too much water will weaken the mix. Use within 30 minutes of adding water.
Cleaning:
Clean down tools and equipment with water prior to the material setting.
Limitations:
Application temperature: 5oC to 35 oC.
Do not use when air temperature is below 5oC or when wall / ground is frozen.
Protect finished work against frost and rain by using hessian or polythene sheeting. In dry or windy conditions, do not allow finished work to dry out too quickly. Allow mortar to dry sufficiently, time dependent on ambient conditions, prior to further work.

Risk:
Risk of serious damage to eyes.
Contact with wet cement, wet concrete or wet mortar may cause irritation, dermatitis or burns. Contact between cement powder and body fluids (e.g sweat and eye fluid) may also cause skin and respiratory irritation, dermatitis or burns.
Contains chromium(vi) May produce an allergic reaction.
Safety:
Avoid eye and skin contact by wearing suitable eye protection, waterproof clothing, waterproof footwear and waterproof gloves. Clothing contaminated by wet cement should be removed immediately and washed before re-use. Avoid breathing dust. On contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water. Seek medical advice after eye contact.

Storage conditions and soluble chromium (vi):
This product must be stored in unopened bags clear of the ground in cool dry conditions and protected from excessive draught.
If stored correctly, as detailed above, the chromium (vi) in this product will be within required levels for up to 6 months from the date shown on the bag.
Use of this product after the declared storage period, as detailed above, may increase the risk of an allergic reaction.
