Farm range

Our farm range of concretes has been designed for farms and farm buildings, from external yards and livestock flooring to crop stores and waste containment.

The range complies with all relevant agricultural standards and when laid correctly is highly resistant to abrasion, erosion and chemical attack. The products are easy to place and compact, highly durable, crack resistant and hygienic. There are four products in the range:

Farmpave

Strong and durable, Farmpave is the ideal mix for use on external paved areas where regular loading or scraping operations can cause excessive wear. The mix also guards against the effect of low temperatures and the use of de-icing salts on the hardened concrete.

Using high quality aggregate and cement as well as a chemical air entrainment additive, Farmpave when laid correctly, will provide a hard, durable surface designed to withstand damage from heavy plant and machinery.

Farmfloor
 
Manufactured for strength, durability and hygiene, Farmfloor is perfect for all types of livestock units including milking parlours, cubicles, sleep/feed and passage areas, collecting yards, ducting and handling systems. When laid correctly it is hard wearing and resistant to abrasion from surface scraping and animal traffic.

Farmfloor is ideal for the aggressive environments associated with the handling of all types of livestock. Its high surface integrity reduces cleaning and hygiene problems and helps set new standards in livestock management practice.

Farmstore

Farmstore helps ensure the value of harvested crops is not lost due to poor storage. Designed for durability and strength it is suitable for both ventilated and non-ventilated floor systems. When laid correctly it has excellent load capabilities to support the weight of both crops and equipment and it meets all the hygiene standards required for food storage. It can also be used for partition walls and silos.

Farmstore is an aid to compliance with relevant quality assurance schemes and satisfies the requirements of the Food Safety Act. It can be finished to provide an appropriate surface for loading and handling and for ease of cleaning.

Farmtank

Farmtank is designed to comply with the British Standard for liquid retaining structures to help farmers contain agricultural liquids safely and efficiently. It provides an impermeable surface that removes the risk of contamination from leakage into the surrounding ground.

Farmtank satisfies the requirements for reinforced concrete in severe exposure conditions and is able to withstand imposed loads. Excellent workability allows for ease of placing and construction.
