Clay dry fix system

Our Red Bank® dry fix ridge system has been developed to enable architects to meet modern day ventilation and fixing requirements. The system allows the use of traditional clay ridge tiles.

Because of the unique design for the system, the actual fixing of the ridge is completely concealed and in no way interferes with the ridge line. This enables natural clay ridges to be fixed with the end result that the appearance is equal to that of a mortared ridge.

The dry fix ridge system is compatible with plain clay roofing tiles and certain profiled large format clay and concrete tiles provided that the top course can be supplied by the manufacturer in a flat headed form.

Technical Data
The system provides 13,000 square millimetres of free airspace per metre run of ridge. This more than satisfies the requirements of BS5250:1989 and Document ‘F’ of
the Building Regulations (1995 edition).
