Port Talbot plant is situated next to Port Talbot docks and has its own dedicated berthing facility.
With integrated ship loading equipment the plant is capable of producing and exporting high tonnages of ggbs to other parts of the UK and overseas.
It also supplies material into the South Wales market. It can produce up to half a million tonnes per year.
With a storage facility for finished product of 10,000 tonnes the plant can cope with loading large ships for the export market and for depots in the UK. ]
The storage facilaties at Port Talbot are based around a roller press which is used as a finished product grinding unit.
