Hanson FORMPAVE AQUAFLOW permeable paving and rainwater harvesting system was installed at a Hanson Building Products employee’s home in Bristol.
The driveway complies with the Government’s Future Water strategy. It will save substantial amounts of money on mains water bills. The integrated permeable paving system also provides a constant supply of recycled water for non-potable purposes and eliminates any risk of flooding.
The driveways size was increased to enable easier vehicle movements to avoid reversing on to a busy road. Using AQUASETT combined in Traditional provided an excellent aesthetically pleasing finish.
Rob Skidmore of Back 2 Front Landscapes installed the AQUAFLOW system. The driveway takes all the surface water. Back 2 Front Landscapes designed the system to also take almost all of the roof water into the paved area as well. This added to the ready supply of recycled non-potable water.
