Aquaflow® permeable block paving was supplied to GwelanMor Luxury Holiday Park in Portreath, Cornwall. An area in excess of 2000 square meters was installed. This provided car parking bays and path areas in between the luxury lodges and throughout the parkland.
The project manager for GwelanMor Holiday Park required permeable paving to ensure rainfall and rainwater run-off could be controlled in an environmentally efficient way. Aquaflow® was an affordable solution that delivered the environmental benefits that were required for GwelanMor Holiday Park.
The project benefited from a sustainable paving solution with high importance placed on the paving being complimentary with the surrounding area. Aquaflow’s® distinctive style and highly developed technique enabled the criteria to be met. Aquaflow® 80mm in charcoal was installed. This was edged by a red brindle standard kerb for the main areas and red for demarcation. An infiltration system was also installed.
