Cotswold stone

The limestone of the Cotswold Hills has been quarried for hundreds of years. Today, natural stone is still a popular and versatile building material, thanks to its beauty, versatility and strength.

The combined skills of craftsmen and modern equipment offer an attractive and competitively priced product with an assurance of lasting quality.

Our Cotswold quarries supply:

  • Dimensioned block stone
  • Dry walling stone
  • Coursed and dressed building stone

Guiting quarry is located nine miles east of Cheltenham in the very heart of the Cotswolds. The historical quarry has been worked for over 150 years.

Cotswold stone’s creamy colour is available in light or dark shades. With the passage of time the limestone weathers to mellow tints of yellow and grey. Unlike its artificial precast counterparts, no two blocks are exactly the same, which introduces warmth and individuality wherever its used.
