Requirements for fresh and hardened ready-mixed concrete
Ready-mixed concrete is used in many different applications. The hardened concrete is found in various environments exposed to different environmental stresses and loads. In addition special requirements can apply for the fresh concrete mass in terms of, for example, workability, maximum aggregate size and temperature.

In order to meet the varying requirements, Betongindustri has more than 100 different concrete recipes, which means that it is virtually impossible to prepare separate building product declarations for every single product and to keep them updated when the mix design of a recipe is changed.

Consequently, our building product declaration provides general information valid for all fresh and hardened concrete in accordance with guidelines from the Environmental Cycle Council of the Construction Sector.
