Muleby System Tank
MST-0
This Muleby System Tank has been available on the market since 1975 and it is patented in several countries. In Denmark alone, there are more than 10.000 MST-0 tanks, mostly used for manure storage. Together with the Abetong Tank C6 these tanks have been the Danish farmers' first choice for years. The tanks are built on a bottom slab, cast-in-situ, then the precast concrete panels are erected and post- tensioned. One advantage of this system is that it is possible to use pre-stressed reinforcing in the production process.
MST-1
The MST-1 tank is the classic solution for Germany's agricultural sector. The tank was developed to meet German technical requirements for post-tensioned mono-strands. This tank model was first erected in 1986. It has been through the German approval procedure and holds the German "Zulassung" certificate. Owing to the high quality and a competitive price, thousands of MST-1 have been erected in Germany over the years.
MST-1A
With the entry of the Muleby System Tank into the British and Irish markets in the 1990s, this version was developed to meet the British Standard. The strands are placed inside the elements, making these thicker and consequently stronger than in MST-1. It is also possible to use pre-stressed reinforcing in the production of this tank system, which provides a better quality product.
MST-2
MST-2 was adapted to meet the needs of industry and municipalities for larger tank volumes. In 1992 development increased the height to 6m, and in 1997 to 8m. This tank is heavier than the other MST-versions and has a different joint system, which makes the erection time longer. The MST-2 is a solid, reliable design, but to meet this need today, we recommend the C14-system.
