Road barriers

Abetong has developed two complete road barrier systems, both of which fulfill safety and funtional requirements.

Flex Bloc
In a collision the Flex Bloc road barrier is moved sideways, thereby absorbing the force of the crash. Flex Blocs are also used for sound absorption. The concrete panels are frost-resistant, durable and maintenance-free. They are approved as being in accordance with the EU standard for capacity class N2.

Tric Bloc
The maintenance-free Tric Bloc concrete barrier has a non-climb profile that prevents vehicles that collide with it from crossing over the barrier. The blocks cushion the force of the collision by deflecting it sideways. The blocks are easily assembled, using simple steel couplings. The flexible system means that the blocks can be used for permanent transport routes as well as temporary roadworks and traffic installations.
