Our Corporate Citizenship Guidelines are oriented towards our core business. We are involved in three areas in which we possess know-how and are able to achieve the best results for the community:
- Building, architecture and infrastructure: We provide practical help in the construction of buildings and infrastructure by making products, time, financial resources and know-how available.
- Environment, climate and biodiversity: We promote initiatives that deal with the most important environmental effects of our business activity.
- Education, training and culture: In this area, we focus on the needs of our locations.
In order to co-ordinate our voluntary activities transparently and efficiently, we have set clear evaluation criteria: We support projects, initiatives and organisations that are active at our locations or to which we have a direct link. In addition, we place a high value on ensuring that the guidelines and principles of these organisations are in harmony with those of HeidelbergCement.
