Management and prevention program of HIV/AIDS at Indocement

Starting in 2004 in cooperation with the local NGO (Non-Governmental Organization KKI), Indocement performed a first workshop for recognition about HIV /AIDS for all its plants. A team of specialists in the sectors health, training and safety as well as Labor Union and staff representatives has gone ahead with a health promotion program at the workplace to improve the awareness of the danger of HIV/AIDS.

Ever since the scope of the program has been extended and is futher developing through various programs and methods. By the end of August 2006, 487 employees have been trained in 3.436 training hours.
