HeidelbergCement announces subscription period and dividend proposal

With respect to the capital increase resolved on 21 February 2005, HeidelbergCement AG announces, that

the subscription period will commence on 4 March 2005 and will end on 18 March 2005 and that the subscription offer will be published on Thursday, 3 March 2005, in the "Börsen-Zeitung";

the Managing Board intends to propose to the Supervisory Board a dividend payment of 0.55 EUR per share out of the balance sheet profit of the financial year 2004.
