The market
Hanson Hispania, based in Madrid, operates 25 ready-mixed concrete plants, and 14 aggregate sites (6 sand & gravel pits and 8 hard-rock quarries). The main markets where it operates are: Barcelona, Asturias, Bilbao, Madrid, Levante, Mallorca, Zaragoza, Valladolid and Sevilla.
It produces annually around 2 million cubic metres of ready-mixed concrete and 11 million tonnes of aggregates, with around 400 employees.
