Akçansa operates in both the cement and ready-mixed concrete sectors in the Marmara, Agean and Black Sea regions. The company has three cement plants in Istanbul, Çanakkale and Ladik. In addition, the grinding plant Karçimsa in Karabük, a joint venture of Akçansa and a steel company, produces blast furnace slag cement. Akçansa's production capacity amounts to 6.5 million tonnes of clinker and 9 million tonnes of cement.
Akçansa produces ready-mixed concrete at numerous locations in the Marmara and Agean regions and distributes it under the brand name Betonsa. Aggregates are sold under the brand name Agregasa.
