Statements from our professionals:

Kristin Eine Lab Manager, Norway |
I started to work with HeidelbergCement 2 1/2 years ago. Currently I am working as a laboratory and quality manager, responsible for the laboratory activities and the product quality.
The IMCP program was very useful. I learned more about the different companies within HeidelbergCement, got to know a lot of nice and interesting people and also increased my managerial skills. The project carried out during the last months of the program was especially educational, both professionally and personally. Working with colleagues from different countries with different backgrounds, on a topic that is not part of your daily work is both challenging and interesting, and it added value to the work carried out.

Bora Cermikli P & C Manager, Turkey |
I joined the Group in 2000, as Corporate Finance and Treasury Specialist. It was also the start of my career in the cement business. Of course, the fact that the company is a multinational company with a global partner like Heidelberg Cement helped my decision a lot. Currently, I am working as “Treasury & Planning Control Manager”, responsible for all treasury and controlling activities, including reporting to our shareholders and our management.
Within these 7 years in the Group, I gained a lot of experience by working in different projects where I could further build up financial and operational know-how. Certainly, different reporting standards, financial perspectives and practices of the Group have also been very helpful to gain insight in different fields.
Being exposed to an international business environment not only enhances the professional experience, but also creates opportunities to get to know different cultures, thereby different business attitudes and practices. Learning from eachother’s experience is a unique chance, which, I believe, is something that the Group also puts so much emphasis on. As for myself, apart from the regular business interaction with the Group, I personally benefited a lot from IMCP 05-07, which was a great chance to develop on such attributes.
I am really happy to be a part of such a dynamic environment which is really exciting and encouraging in many respects.
