Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board of HeidelbergCement AG shall consist of sixteen members. Half of the members of the Supervisory Board shall be elected by the Annual General Meeting in accordance with the provisions of the German Stock Corporation Act and half by the employees in accordance with the provisions of the German Codetermination Law.

In accordance with section 106 of the German Stock Corporation Law (Aktiengesetz), we announce that Ms Waltraud Hertreiter has left the Supervisory Board. On 23 May 2006, the Annual General Meeting elected Mr Tobias Merckle, Leonberg, as a shareholder representative on the Supervisory Board for the remainder of the current term of office.
