Varyap Meridian, the most prominent project in western Ataşehir, Istanbul, Turkey, attracts interest through its concept including 5 residential towers, 3 horizontal office blocks, and 14 villas.

It is located on an elevated plateau, and offers stunning views to city and sea. On 340,000 m², there are 1,500 residence units, a hotel including conference rooms, offices, landscaped areas with several pools, squares, and parking facilities.

The iconic complex has received several awards for its distinctive architecture, and is the first ecological-mixed project with LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design standards) in Turkey.

Varyap Meridian captures rain and grey water for reuse, and generates energy for common areas with solar panels and wind turbines. Energy consumption is reduced through energy-optimised construction and optimum usage of wind and sunlight.

A ready-mixed concrete plant from HeidelbergCement’s Turkish joint venture Betonsa was continuously at the ready with exact solutions throughout the project. Betonsa supplied 350,000 m3 of ready-mixed concrete for this project.
