Gnassingbe Eyadema International Airport

The new Gnassingbe Eyadema International Airport (Aéroport International Gnassingbé Eyadéma – AIGE) opened in 2016, and is located 5 minutes away from the town center of Lomé, Togo.

The modern airport can handle up to 2 million passengers per year. The new terminal covers 21,000 m2, and includes 5 boarding gates. The runway is 3,000 m long. The grounds offer are parking positions for 11 planes and parking for 1,000 cars.

HeidelbergCement’s subsidiary Cimtogo delivered 39,706 tonnes of cement to this project.
