HeidelbergCement receives top rating for corporate action combating climate change

CDP has awarded HeidelbergCement the rating 'A. The company is now positioned among 193 others worldwide on this year’s “Climate A List” in recognition of its efforts to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and mitigate climate change.

Moreover, HeidelbergCement performed very well in the sector comparison, and once again achieved the status of 'Sector Leader Energy & Material' in the DACH-region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). The company thus ranks among the leading 12 percent in its sector, and is also one of the best in the DAX.

The CDP-rating annually evaluates corporate action relating to climate protection and transparency in sustainability reporting. CDP (originally: Carbon Disclosure Project) represents more than 820 institutional investors managing assets totalling US$100 trillion.
