TBG BH produces and sells ready mixed concrete in three locations: Sarajevo, Lukavac and Banja Luka. Concrete is transported in mixing trucks to the desired location of the buyer.
You can find below the most important types of concrete offered by TBG BH. We can produce other types of concrete, as required by customers.
Pumped concrete
Concrete resistant to frost and saltWatertight concrete
Shotcrete
Sprayed concrete reinforced by steel fibers
Sulfate resistant concrete
Micro-reinforced concrete
Lightweight concretePumped concrete Pumped concrete has multiple applications. Appropriate recipe is the key element for concrete pumping without segregation or pump blockage.
Concrete resistant to frost and salt
Concrete resistant to frost and freezing/unfreezing must be used when the concrete constructions are exposed to weather and climate conditions and when surface temperatures may fall below zero.
It is used for:
- Bridge constructions
- Traffic areas
- Supporting walls
- Portal tunnel areas etc.
Watertight concretes
watertight concretes are concretes of such consistence that do not allow penetration of water under certain pressure.
Water-tightness defines the resistance of the concrete construction to water penetration.
Shotcrete
Shotcrete or sprayed concrete uses compressed air to shoot concrete onto (or into) a frame or structure.
Usages:
- securing tunnels
- securing rocks and slopes
- high-quality linings
- repairs
Sprayed concrete reinforced by steel fibers
Sprayed concrete reinforced by steel fibers provides additionally homogenous reinforcement.
Reasons for using the sprayed concrete with steel fibers are:
- saving costs on installing steel reinforcement
- reduction of settling caused by high starting strengths
- removing "spray shadow" when spraying reinforcement mesh
- due to its homogeneousness, the sprayed concrete reinforced by steel fibers may resist different types of force from different directions in any point of its transversal profile.
Sulfate resistant concrete
Water containing sulfates appears in the ground or sulfates may be dissolved in the underground waters, and may attack hardened concrete.
Water containing sulfates is mixed with C3A in cement creating cement bacteria (in certain conditions also some other compounds), which causes increased volume and high inside pressure in the concrete construction causing cracking and hardening of cement.
Micro-reinforced concrete
Adding fibers may effectively influence many different characteristics of fresh and hardened concrete. It is used mainly for industrial floors.
Micro-reinforced concrete is used for:
- improving durability of the construction
- increased strengths
- resistance to subsequent cracking
- improving crack distribution
- decreasing shrinking of young concrete.
Lightweight concretes
They are used for producing thermal-acoustic plates to which thin-layered floor linings are embedded.
Light concretes are used for:
- all types of cement floor screeds
- thermal-acoustic floating screed
- slope thermal-acoustic lightweight concrete, for flat roofs
- precast elements
- thermal insulation of sewage and water installations
- bed layers for roads and highways
- as thermal-mortar for walls.
